Christmas Fresh Cuts
Here's a simple little card with a Christmas twist. We did these
with my Mother/Daughter group. The little fusion flower adds an interesting little dimension.

A Girl Can't Make Up Her Mind!
Jady girl is just torn at which Christmas cookie she will have to pick. Her Dad had a little too much wine, so maybe just maybe he can be talked into letting her have ALL of them!

What is old is new again
This is a card done with last year's SU Christmas DP with Season of Joy SS. The tree is stamped in Wasabi - remember that color? It used to be the new black.

Ah to be 10 again...
Jade and her friends - Sarah, Thomas & Matthieu were out building a fort and inventing their imaginary place, GLACIA. Here they are enjoying a hot chocolate and banana muffin. Good times...

Christmas Fun
I had such a great time putting this project together.
I got the tutorial from Becky Roberts here:http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com/ The tutorial is very well planned out and the instructions
are dummy-proof (ah, that would be me).
I will fill these with chocolates or candy canes. Really cute!

BONNE FETE MAI-KIM (10 ANS!!!)
This is a card Jade and I made for her BFF Mai-Kim's 10th Birthday. Purple is one of Mai-Kim's favorite colors as it is for most 10 yr olds. I used the Upsy Daisy SS with Craft White ink, the Cuttlebug which Mai-Kim's Mom is hoping to get for Christmas and the Frames with Flourish SS.

Little Jars from Ikea
Wow these are so fun and easy! These little jars from Ikea
are like $5 for 4. The candies inside are also from Ikea (who knew Ikea had such great chocolate). I did these with my friends and they were a real hit. Highly recommend these for groups.

Snowflake Spot
This is not a very good shot at this card (much better looking in person), I guess due to the pastel colors and clear embossing.
But I did use a fun technique, that double masking which is really fun. I saw that on Dawn's Stamping Thoughts blog. Check her out,
she is so talented and makes everything look so easy. That's how I like it, quick and easy...

Mellow Christmas
Here is a soft looking Christmas card I did with
my friends. We all seem to like the non-typical
Christmas colors and the tree is embossed in Gold.
I really like this card.

My student's cards/Les cartes de mes eleves
These are two cards that were fabricated by my two shining students who always give their 110% efforts at my mother/daughter stamp club.
The 'Wanted' card was done by Shauna's Mom, Donna - and I think it is spectacular - it really got a 'wow' reaction from everyone when she showed this card to us. I just love how she draped that rope around and the colors are so soft and pretty. I grade this one
at 100%! Great job Donna!
---------------------------------------------------------
The 'Fete' card was fabricated by Mai-Kim's Mom, Carole and she really outdid herself on this one. It was for Alys-Ann's 13th birthday and I just love the use of the flowers and the use of colors and the 3-d effects. I give this card an A+!
50/50 Carole!

Jade's Room
When Jade was approaching the big TEN, we decided to re-do her room to have a more grown up look - gone were the princess colors, dollhouse and dolls to be replaced by I-Pods and docking stations, bulletin boards, queen size bed, etc. For her wall over her bed, she chose something from Stampin' Up's Decor elements with that beautiful bird. The frames I made for her to accentuate the red, black and white theme also with Stampin' Up! materials. I think she is pretty happy with the results.

SC200 & CC190 AND Jade's Birthday Card!
Boy oh boy - this is not two birds with one 'stamp' but three!
A sketch challenge, a color challenge and my daughter's birthday card. Is that wrong? But I'm pretty happy at how this card turned out - all soft and pretty just like Jade.

How to spend $150 in 30 minutes
Jade will be 10 this coming Wednesday and one of the things she really wanted to do is 'Build a Bear'. This is a super cute concept with picking and choosing your own little stuffed teddy and the most fun I think is picking out some of the cute little outfits for them with the accessories. So Jade and her best friend Mai-Kim chose the Zebras with funky little outfits. For the shoes, Jade picked out Skechers which actually light up when you tap them!
It was so much fun just watching them picking out all their stuff.
Jade called her Zebra Mimi and Mai-Kim called her Zigzag - how cute is that! Oooooh to be 10 again!!!

Halloween Duo
A friend of mine has a sister who's birthday falls on Halloween
and asked me to make her a card. For the shutters, I used
SU's Window Dressing with Versamark and clear embossing powder
with a little ribbon for the window curtains. The black cats are from Dollarama. The template for the little box comes from
Stampin' Up's Website (fry box).

Mojo Monday #57 or Oxymoron Card
Here is a card I made for Mojo Monday's challenge using Basic Grey, Basic Black and that lovely new Urban Garden DP. For the center flower, I cut out the flower from the paper a couple of times to give it a 3-D effect.
I call this my oxymoron card as it is floral yet masculine.
Kind of a jumbo shrimp.
Thanks for looking!

Donna's Card for her DH
This is a card that my friend Donna (who also happens to be one of my loyal members of my stampers Mother/Daughter Club) made this beautiful card for her DH who turned the big 5 0 a couple of weeks ago. Donna is an extremely talented cardmaker and I always love to see her creations. She always adds her own personal feminine touch which always turns out awesome.
There was another equally beautiful card for her daughter's Shauna's 10th birthday but unfortunately the pic did not turn out for that one.
Great job Donna and Happy Belated Birthday to both Simon and Shauna.

Glittery Barocque Pumpkins
I saw a version of this card last Spring at our regional SU convention here in Montreal and it was one I just had to case.
I cannot remember the original creator of the card, it was posted on one of the sample card boards of which there were probably 50.

January Skies (in October)
I submitted this card to SU's monthly contest for November. The selected card by SU will be shown in January's Stampin' Success issue with the theme being Fun with flurries. I did a very similar card a little while back but angled it a little differently. I mailed it off yesterday and keeping my fingers crossed.

100 Workouts at Curves
Yesterday was my 100th workout and you guessed it, I got this
wonderful T-shirt to commemorate this great milestone.
Pictured with me is Karen, the most fun and cheerful trainer there is. The first time I met Karen, she was wearing a 'GRUMPY'
sweatshirt which I thought was pretty funny because she is anything but grumpy. By the way, this song is for you Karen.

A Flower for all Seasons Gift Set
Well, it was raining here on Saturday afternoon, or I think it was so off to my workshop I went. I just got this cute little stamp set and wanted to put it to good use right away. It's nothing fancy, just a fun little whimscal set that can go a long way.
I made this little set and will draw it at my next Mother/Daughter get together.

Mojo Monday #54
Well as you can probably tell, I am not a great photographer.
As vain as this will sound, this card is much prettier in 'person'.
I kid you not, I must take at least 7 shots of one card to get one acceptable one to post. So hopefully you all can still tell that I used the Bali Breeze paper with those fun build a brads which I am hoarding. And one of my favorite stamp sets is Happy Harmony which I used SU markers in a light green for the flower and darker green for the stem. If anyone out there has a good tip for picture taking, this may be a good time to leave me a comment.

Sweet Smells of Fall!
What is it with this time of year to want to get back in the kitchen and cook something tasty and wholesome. I spent part of the morning yesterday making a batch of savoury spaghetti sauce (which I discovered doing in the Crock Pot makes it that much better). And with a basket full of ripe peaches on the counter, yes, you guessed it: Peach Crumb Pie. Oh yum! And the odors from my kitchen: PRICELESS!

Bonne Fete Maman
